Aurora

i
morning sky blooms rose
remembering your warm kiss
on my pearly cheek

ii
wintertide whispers
carried ethereally on
singing our love
iii
we fall as wind breaks
twirling in the drifts below
alabaster stars
iv
breathing escapes us
glistening through the sunlight
pirouetting snow

Written for Heeding Haiku with Chèvrefeuille for Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie.
The theme is winter dawn.
I tried to keep it light for my friend who has been suffering from heartbreak while reading my last few pieces of poetry. 🙂 I promised something happier.
